Lake of Coiselet :

Origin :dam
Area : 350 ha
Length : 10 km
Depth : maximum 30 m. / moyenne : 9,5 m.
Altitude : 400 m

It was flooded in 1970 after Lake Vouglans. This is the most southern lake of the Jura fed by the Bienne and Ain rivers. It is here, where the water removed and organise the shape of the land, that the scenery becomes the most spectacular :surrounded by cliffs, it offers wonderful landscapes.

Activities :
Bathing in Chancia (allowed but not supervised), fishing, hiking (peak of Oliferne 9 km).
