A selection of activities suggested by the Clairvaux-les-Lacs Tourist Office in July and August (by reservation only)

	NATURE TRAILS Night walks around the Lakes to discover the wildlife .A guided tour by night to listen out for (natural) nightlife! Guided tours around St Hymetières and its legends .The Randonneurs (ramblers) de la Petite Montagne and the Croqueurs de Pomme (Apple crunchers) will guide you around the village at St Hymetières and the Caborne du Boeuf cave with apple tasting at the end of the circuit.
	EXCURSIONS IN SWITZERLAND Excursions to Geneva from Clairvaux-les-Lacs - Day-trips by coach to Geneva, with or without a guided tour of the Town, UN building, Olympic museum, lakeside, and other sites. Excursions to Gruyères - Journey by bus from Clairvaux les Lacs, visit the medieval town of Gruyères and the Nestle Chocolate Factory.
	VISITS The ‘Forges du Moulin‘ : the bygone age of blacksmiths and ironmongers . Daniel is a blacksmith at heart, and he displays his passion with iron. Visit Robert Marichy‘s wood lathing workshop . Every visitor leaves with a wood gift straight off the lathe. Cheese dairy visits in Aromas , Chisséria , and St Julien. Visit and explanation on how to make Comté Cheese and tasting.
	CREATIVE WORKSHOPS Prehistoric display and presentation at Clairvaux les lacs Introduction to archaeology, artisan work and cooking in the Neolithic. Cosmetics and cooking with Jura plants in Clairvaux les Lacs For all the family, make your own sun protection lotion, make small appetisers, and leave with a souvenir of your stay. Wood lathe workshop in St Julien Family outing, introduction to wood lathing Creative workshops for children at the Atelier des Savoir Faire For children aged 3 to 7 years, make spinning top, wood puppets and mosaic.
