- Fruitière 1900 - Comté Cheese dairy
Traditional Comté cheese dairy, the visit includes an insight into making cheese in the 19th century, over a wood fire and a giant copper cauldron.
- Lake and Dam Vouglans
3rd largest hydroelectric reservoir in France, Lake Vouglans is an ideal place for water sports
It is an important hydro-electric dam (it contains some 600 million m³ of water ) providing power to a big part of the region. It is a classic arch dam with only 6 m thickness at the highest point over a width of 420 m. It is not open to visitors, but you can get a very good look from the viewpoint (Belvédère) on the Route de Lect.
- Pont de la Pyle
Built by EDF (Electricité de France) in the same year as the dam was finished ; the bridge spans 351 m, is 9 m wide, and has a height of 75 m. A great view of the lake from the viewpoint (belvedere) and from the bridge.
- Musée des maquettes
Over 100 scale model machines of all sorts, handmade, up to 3 metres in length ! Agricultural machines, cars, boats, aeroplanes,…..
