Access

Region of lakes and low mountains is from : Marigny at North, Thoirette at South. Main villages are : Clairvaux les Lacs, Orgelet, Arinthod and Saint-Julien Sur Suran.

By the road

  • Since Geneva :  follow the Main road RN 5 up to Saint Laurent en Grandvaux, then follow the Main road RN 78, in the direction of Lons-le-Saunier.
     
  • Since Paris : Highway A6 with direction Dijon, then A39 with direction Lons le Saunier.
    ⇒ For lakes area, take exit n°8 and follow direction Clairvaux Les Lacs.
    ⇒ For low moutains area, take exit n°10 and follow direction Saint Amour, Saint-Julien sur Suran.
     
  • Since Lyon : Highway A42 with direction Geneva, Take exit at Oyonnax and follow direction Moirans en Montagne and then Clairvaux Les Lacs.
     
  • Since Lons-le-Saunier : follow the Main road RN 78 for area of lakes (then D52 for low mountains area).

  • Line 40 until Orgelet.
  • Line 10 until Orgelet and Arinthod.

Nearest train stations from region of lakes and low mountains are:

  • At North: Lons Le Saunier or Champagnole.
  • At East: Saint-Laurent en Grandvaux.
  • At South: Oyonnax.
